Honoring Brian Malmon's
lasting legacy.

"This March will be 25 years since I lost my brother Brian to suicide. 25 years since I heard his voice. 25 years since I saw his smile. When I started Active Minds, I wanted to honor his memory by ending the silence that surrounded mental health and let others know it’s okay to not be okay. For more than two decades Active Minds has been working towards a society that forever values and prioritizes mental health."

- Alison Malmon, Founder + Executive Director, Active Minds.

Together we can champion mental health.

Active Minds started with a vision to create a society that forever values and prioritizes mental health.

For 20 years, we have held a unique position in the mental health field, reaching youth and young adults directly, and equipping them to change the conversation about mental health.

But we cannot stop. The mental health crisis experienced by youth and young adults has become perhaps the most pressing public health issue of our time – and we need to start treating it like so.

This group of young adults joined me to create the world we wanted to see for people like Brian and sisters like me. And we never stopped.
